There have been a variety of email phishing attempts that ask you to reply to the email and supply your: username, password, security question and answer and date of birth.
Please ignore these scams. They are similar to email you may receive asking you to verify your banking or other private account information. Please do not respond to these types of emails. If you have responded, click here and change your password also please read the web page on recognizing fraudulent email.
The only time you should ever type your login and password is on a Colby web authentication page, when logging into a College-owned computer or in an email client (e.g., Eudora). Colby's IT Services staff will never ask you for your password in email, by phone or in conversation.

| Microsoft's latest version of the Office Suite, Office 2007 for Windows, has changed the format of files being saved in Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. This default file format is not compatible with older versions of Office for both Macs (Office 2004 or Office X) and Windows (Office 2003 or Office XP).
