Sailing is a Club Sport at Colby.  We sail on Messalonskee Lake at the Colby-Hume Center, an amazing facility just 15 minutes away.  For boats, we have a fleet of six FJs, and an inflatable power boat to help run chase.  We have been actively racing, mainly in NEISA's Eastern Series for the past five years, but have recently expanded to race in other open New England regattas as well. We generally competing in about eight to ten regattas a year.  Check our "Schedule & Results" page to check up on our racing.

Our mission is to expand and improve intercollegiate sailing at Colby College in order to create a team that can compete and succeed on a national level by building upon the current interest and ability already present on campus. We tend to draw on existing talent within the Colby student body, however we are more than willing to grow our own talent and welcome first time sailors.
