Varun Avasthi
Director of Dining Services

Varun Avasthi Varun is a general manager for Sodexo, the food service provider for Colby College. As such, he oversees the entire Dining Services Program at Colby which includes the board plan for the three dining halls, the campus retail operations in the Pulver Pavilion, and all catering. His door is always open to answer questions or entertain student requests. Whenever you submit a question or request on our "suggestion box" web site, he is the one receiving your email.

hartleyDavid is new to Colby this year.  He comes to us from Chili's Restaurant in Bangor and will be managing The Joseph Family Spa, Caporale Lounge, and Marchese Bluelight Pub located in the newly-renovated Pulver Pavillion in Cotter Union.  He will be happy to give you a tour of this exciting new retail dining space.  In the meantime, if you see him around campus, make sure to welcome him aboard.

kasThomas is always available to help you plan any catering event being charged to a department account number. He is also the person to see for class dinners and sports breakup meals.
