Colby Dining Services Sustainability InitiativesColby Dining Services works hard to employ green and sustainable initiatives in the dining halls as well as catering. Bio-Diesel
Dining Services is now recycling all fryer oil for bio-diesel fuel for tractors on a local farm.

Students interested in finding out more about basic nutrition, should check out Sodexho's wellness program Balance Mind Body and Soul. This site follows a holistic approach to wellness that speaks directly to college students. The message is to forget about fad diets and start learning what smart eatting is all about. Colby, together with Sodexho, the food contract service, offers its students an expansive choice of food service options to meet their diverse dietary choices. For those of you not familiar with our Dining Services, Colby operates three dining halls during the school year—Dana, Foss, and Roberts— each striving to create a flavor and atmosphere all its own. Dining Services also has a full retail operation located in the newly renovated Pulver Pavilion which includes the Joseph Family Spa, Caporale Lounge, and Marchese Blue Light Pub.

Supporting all of these locations is the bakeshop where all of our breads and desserts are prepared fresh daily by the Colby bakers.
