Colby College | Facilities Endowment

The strategic Plan for Colby identified the need for additional endowment for the maintenance and renewal of the College's facilities to ensure that the entire physical plant remains in top condition. Additionally, realizing Colby's programmatic potential and aspirations in the coming years will require the renovation or reconfiguration of existing facilities. The Reaching the World campaign aims to raise $25 million in new facilities support endowment. Specific goals include

improving the College's classrooms through the renewal and rearrangement of existing space,
creating additional faculty and administrative office space through the reconfiguration of existing space,
enhancing student gathering space in both academic and non-academic settings,
enhancing existing performance spaces.

All renovations are carefully planned in the context of a visionary master plan for the future of the campus that embodies the College's core values and general aspirations.
