At the campaign kickoff in Waterville in October 2005, President William D. Adams outlined why Reaching the World: A Campaign for Colby is critically important to the College's future. "It is vitally important, that we continue to expand the opportunity that these kinds of places and Colby in particular is able to offer," Adams said.
