Since its first official varsity season in 1978, the Colby women's cross-country program has flourished and built a strong tradition of success.
A perennial contender, Colby has repeatedly been in the New England Division III top-10 rankings. The New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) is one of the strongest cross-country conferences in the nation and always provides great competition.
The Colby cross-country program has produced 12 runners who have earned 14 All-America honors, and Colby has qualified for the NCAA meet as a team in six of the last 13 years, finishing fifth in the nation in both 2004 and 2005. The squad averages 22 team members.
