Women's soccer earns tie with Camels
NEW LONDON, Conn. -- Su-Lin Del Guercio scored her first collegiate goal with 16:31 left in regulation as the Colby College women's soccer team and Connecticut College battled to a 1-1 overtime tie on Saturday.
Jackie Wade had given Conn College (4-7-1, 2-5-1 NESCAC) a 1-0 lead midway through the opening half. Del Guercio tallied unassisted at 73:29 for the Mules (4-6-3, 0-6-2), who received seven saves from goalkeeper Kathleen Nicholson.
