Kondrat, Ward in top 10 at New England D3 meet
KONDRAT FIFTH IN THE HAMMER THROW FOR COLBY WOMEN NEW LONDON, Conn. --- Brianna Kondrat placed fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 149-02 for the Colby College women at the New England Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Friday at Coast Guard Academy.
For the Colby men, Brian Ward placed 10th in the hammer throw in 154-06. Jennifer MacDowell was 11th for the Colby women in the 10,000 meters (39:11.27) and Jordan Schoonover placed 18th in the triple jump (32-5.5). Competition resumes on Saturday at 10 a.m.
