Men's lacrosse players help senior team to win
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --- Colby College graduates Dana McNally (Sudbury, Mass.) and Drew Piekarski (East Sandwich, Mass.) each had points in helping the East squad to a 13-12 win over the West in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Senior East-West All-Star Game on May 30 at Harvard Stadium.
McNally had one goal and two assists, while Piekarski added one assist. McNally picked up a loose ball in the crease and fired in a behind the back shot for his goal. McNally, an attacker, was third on Colby (6-8) in scoring this past season with nine goals and a team-best 24 assists for 33 points. He finished his career with 11 goals and 35 assists for 46 points. Piekarski, an All-New England second team selection as a midfielder, had 25 goals and two assists for the Mules in 2008. He had 57 goals and 12 assists for 69 career points. McNally and Piekarski were co-captains for Colby and both graduated in May.
