Men's lacrosse falls in season finale
AMHERST, Mass. --- Amherst College and Colby College combined for 21 goals in the second half as the Lord Jeffs pulled away for a 17-12 win over the Mules in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday.
Colby, which finished the season at 6-8 overall and 2-7 in the league, received three goals and one assist from Whit McCarthy. Stew Brown, Todd Boertzel, and Drew Piekarski all had two scores for the Mules.
