The 2007 Season will be starting this Sunday! There is a mandatory captains meeting at the flagpole at 7:00 on Wednesday.

RULES

  • Each game consists of two 20 minute run-time halves.

  • Each team is allowed 7 players on the field at a time.

  • Offense must have three players on the line for each play

  • Defense must have at least two players on the line for each play

  • If the score is tied after regulation, each team has one overtime drive beginning on the 25 yard line.  Games tied after overtime will remain as ties.

  • NO protecting your flags (flags must be free hanging and worn on your hips), but spinning and stiff arms are okay.

  • No onside kicks

  • College football rules
          Catch with one foot in-bounds is good (as long as second foot is still in the air)
          Play is dead once one knee is down

  • Point After:
          
    3-yard play is good for one point
          10-yard play is good for two points
           Defense cannot blitz and offense cannot rush on the point after
           Offense can run if the defense brings pressure after the mississippi count.

  • No varisty football players are allowed in iPlay football.  Other varsity athletes are reccommended to ask their coaches before playing but are allowed.

COMPETITIVE ONLY RULES

  • Defense can blitz once per set of downs.  Offense can call rushing plays as much as they want. 

RECREATIONAL ONLY RULES

  • Defense can blitz once per set of downs.  Offense can rush only once per set of downs.
  • Recreational teams must have at least one player of each gender on the field at a time.
