The Colby Fund for Parents is part of the overall Colby Fund and is the vehicle through which parents of current students and alumni can enhance the educational opportunities Colby provides all of today's and tomorrow's students.

Gifts to the Colby Fund for Parents help meet current needs and affect every component of a Colby education. Every gift supports the extraordinary academic experience available to students. Colby Fund for Parents donations go to work immediately to fund the core priorities and strategic needs of the College.

The Colby Fund for Parents is a collection of hundreds of gifts from hundreds of families. Participation in the fund is vital at any level because it demonstrates widespread support of the College—every gift truly makes a difference!

Why should I contribute?

Your financial support affirms your student’s decision to pursue a Colby education and reflects your investment in the College’s academic excellence.

Although it may be difficult to imagine, the price of tuition, room, and board only covers approximately 75 percent of the actual annual cost of educating each student, which means that every student receives some level of subsidy regardless of whether he or she receives financial aid. Parents Fund gifts help bridge this gap.
