Brooke Coleman graduated with a major in psychology and a senior scholars project in creative writing. She earned her Masters degree in psychology in 1994 while working as a graduate assistant in residence life. After working as a resident director at Salem State College, she became the director of the Upward Bound program at North Shore Community College in Lynn, Massachusetts. She finds preparing students for college especially interesting since she plans to return to graduate school herself. She lives in Revere, Massachusetts, with plans to move back to California soon.
