Sophos Antivirus may generate the following messages or errors:
Virus found
Virus shredded
Out of date.

If Sophos shreds a virus there is nothing more that needs to be done unless that same virus returns frequently. If Sophos finds a virus but does not shred it faculty and staff should contact the Faculty and Staff Support Center at ext. 4222, students should contact Student Computer Services at ext. 4224.

If Sophos Antivirus is out of date it should be reinstalled following the instructions or by a support technician.
