CMR - Telephone Set Features
What are all those buttons?  | Used to place a caller on hold, extension button will show blinking arrow. |  | Like switch-hook, used to hang-up or, more politely, release calls. |  | To program phone settings such as display contrast, volume, language, key click, etc. |  | Like a 'speaker phone' allowing handsfree conversation. With handset in cradle, press to obtain dialtone then dial party. Press while on call to toggle Mute on and off. |  | A speed call button to voice mail. Blinks if you have messages. |  | Forward you phone to another campus extension or to voice mail. Program: With handset in cradle, press Forward then enter extension where calls are to be forwarded (use 4100 to forward to your voice mailbox), then press Forward again to activate. To cancel, press Forward once. Note: pressing Forward twice will forward to last ext entered for forwarding. |  | Allows for up to six parties to be connected at one time. Program: Dial first party, press Conference, call 2nd party, (and repeat for up to 6 parties). To join group, press Conference second time to connect all parties together. |  | Transfer a caller to another campus extension. Press Transfer and at dial tone, dial extension. At ring, press Transfer immediatly for instant transfer or announce call then press Transfer and hang up. |  | Pick up a ringing telephone other than your own within your office area. |  | Auto dial button which allows a frequently dialed number to be programmed to the button. |  | When a line is ringing, press to see caller ID display before answering. |  | The phone's secondary line. |  | The phone's primary extension number. |
