History and East Asian Studies - Tenure Track

The Departments of History and East Asian Studies at Colby College invite applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor, beginning September 1, 2009.  Candidates should have a Ph.D. in history and may have research and teaching interests in any East Asian geographic area or period of history. The successful candidate should have an active research program and a demonstrated commitment to liberal arts education. Teaching load is five courses annually, including a two-semester survey of East Asian history.
