Government Department - Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor in American Politics

The Government Department of Colby College seeks applications for a part-time (three course) appointment in American Politics beginning either September 1, 2008 or January 1, 2009.  Applicants should either have earned the PhD or be advanced graduate students, nearing completion of the dissertation. The successful applicant will teach one section of the Introduction to American Politics and offer upper level courses of her or his own choosing, preferably including one course during Colby's January Program.
