Economics - Assistant Professor or Instructor (One-Year Visiting)

E  Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics

The Department of Economics invites applications for a one-year visiting position at the assistant professor or instructor level, beginning September 1, 2009, with the possibility of reappointment for up to two additional years. The successful applicant will teach intermediate and introductory macroeconomics courses and other courses chosen in consultation with the department. Candidates with completed Ph.D.s are preferred, but ABD applicants will be considered. To be considered for an interview at the 2009 ASSA meetings, please send curriculum vitae, graduate transcript, three letters of recommendation, and official summaries of teaching evaluations by November 14, 2008. Candidates are also encouraged to provide a brief statement of teaching philosophy. Please send all materials as hard copy.
