Certified Athletic Trainer

As a member of the Health Services team, the Athletic Trainer provides first aid and referral to injured athletes; administers rehabilitative treatment; assists in the education of student workers in the prevention and care of athletic injuries; and travels with the athletic teams.  Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s preferred; five years previous experience preferred; ability to travel is necessary; must be eligible for Maine State licensure and BOC certification is required; NATA membership preferred; and first Aid/CPR/AED certification for a professional rescuer required.
