SYMPTOMS
Often, there are no symptoms. Sometimes symptoms are present one day and gone the next. The following is a list of common STD symptoms:

• - Unusual discharge from vagina/penis
• - Itching/irritation in genitals
• - Pain and/or burning with urination
• - Frequent urination
• - Muscle aches
• - Fever
• - Tiredness
• - Pelvic pain
• - Painful intercourse
• - Swollen glands
• - Sore throat
• - Bumps, blisters, open sores
• - Skin rash

Sexual assault victims should seek medical attention, even if they feel ok. If a caller states they were raped a long time ago, e.g. 1 year or more, they still need to be seen! They could carry an STD for months or years without knowing it.
