New Financial Aid Policy for 2008-09 Awards
A new aid policy will take affect with aid awards for 2008-09. Currently, for students eligible for Colby aid, the financial aid package typically includes loan (Perkins Loan in most cases) work study and grant to meet the calculated financial need. Next year, the loan component of the package will be replaced with Colby Grant resulting in less overall debt. Students and parents may choose to borrow to reduce the calculated family as before. SFS will continue to process federal student loans for those eligible students opting to borrow. more details
Aid Application Deadline for Returning Students
Colby Aid Renewal Applications are mailed in January 2008. The deadline to apply for financial aid for the 2008-09 academic year is April 15, 2008.
