The Kennebec River is slightly less difficult and remote than the Moose River trip. Some quick water is present. Participants should be very comfortable with canoeing, faster moving water and portages. Good swimming skills are required for every water-based trip. Participants will be camping along the river and at remote campsites.  Amenities are limited and participants should be comfortable with rustic conditions.
