Located in Northwestern Maine on the East Outlet of Moosehead Lake, this trip includes both lake and stream paddling and is moderately difficult. Participants should have a good level of comfort in canoes and good swimming skills. Accommodations will include tents and cooking outdoors. Additional amenities are limited as the travel route is remote in most places. Equipment needs include water-based footwear, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, small day pack, and individual dry-bag.
