Located just across the valley from Maine’s 3rd highest mountain, this trip is structured for those participants who will be comfortable hiking on the Grafton Notch Trail for the entire duration of the trip. Strenuous hiking is involved, as are primitive camping conditions. There are no amenities along the trail, so participants should be comfortable without common conveniences. Transportation is by bus. Participants need a full-sized, internal-frame backpack, sturdy hiking boots, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, and personal equipment needed for 3 days on the trail.
