Mount Desert Island is the location for this excursion trip. Located along the rugged coast of Maine, Acadia National Park is one of the nations most visited parks. The trip participants will visit areas around the island and enjoy some easy to moderate hiking.

Accommodations will be rustic with tents provided and cooking will be done over campstoves. Rugged, broken-in boots are important on this trip. Showers and other amenities may be available each day depending upon location. Participants should have an interest in hiking short distances each day. Weather can be variable with cooler temperatures close the shore.
