Acadia Exploration A/B

undefined
Mount Desert Island is the location for these excursion trips. Located along the rugged coast of Maine, Acadia National Park is one of the nations most visited parks. The trip participants will visit areas around the island and enjoy some easy to moderate hiking.

Accommodations will be rustic with tents and some cabin space provided. As with any trip involving short or long distance hiking, broken-in boots are important. Showers and other amenities may be available depending upon location. Participants should have an interest in hiking short distances each day. Weather can be variable with cooler temperatures close the shore. Smuggler's Den Campground and Bass Harbor Campground will be the camping locations for participants.
