Catalog Workstations: 3 public PC catalog workstations are available for library research use.

Apple Computer / AV Lab:  Bixler Library houses an Apple computer lab with Sibelius software for writing, playing, printing and publishing music notation. Listening and viewing equipment is available for playing   sound recordings and videos.

Laptops to borrow:  Students and faculty may borrow our Dell Latitude notebooks for use within Bixler Library. The loan period is 4 hours.  

Scanner:  A 17 inch digital flatbed scanner is available for public use.  

Wireless:  Wireless networking is available in Bixler Library. Consult Technical Help for printer configuration. 

Lockers:  9 storage locker cubicles are available to senior art and music majors (priority) and off-campus art and music students. Pick up an application in Bixler Library if you are interested. Further inquiries should be made to Margaret Ericson, Art and Music Librarian, 859-5662.

Photocopy machine:  Bixler Library has a photocopy machine which is operated by a Colby Card only. (Sorry, this machine does not accept change or dollars.) Copies are $.10 each. Faculty, staff, students, and visitors need to bring a copy card or Colby Card with them to the library in order to photocopy. Library visitors can purchase a copy card from machines at the Bookstore in Roberts (closest location) or in Miller Library.
