Recall Policy
  • If the material you need is not available through MaineCat or NExpress, you may use this form to recall materials that are checked out from the Colby Libraries.
  • Students cannot recall videos/DVDs.
  • Colby students, faculty, or staff may request the recall of a book at any time.
  • The patron who has the book is guaranteed 14 days of use from the time they checked it out before a recall notice is sent. Recalls for course reserves are sent immediately.
  • A patron who receives a recall notice has 5 days to return it before fines of $1.00 per day begin.
