Colby students in Project Team organize team-building activities at Winslow Elementary School and Mitchell Elementary School. The mission of the program is to engage students in projects that assist them in thinking about teamwork. These after school projects range from arts and crafts to active games that encourage learning and cooperation. Helping children understand the process of working together is as valuable as the product that may come out of their work. Project Team was founded to honor Deora Bodley, a 20 year-old college student who was devoted to helping kids and tragically lost her life on September 11th, 2001.
