  • The State of Maine, an Environmental Assessment - an ongoing evaluation of climate, fisheries, forests, solid waste, and freshwater resources, and other environmental topics undertaken by senior Environmental Policy majors enrolled in ES493: Environmental Policy Practicum.
  • Atlas of Maine - an ongoing project of interactive maps of the human and natural resources of Maine, completed by students enrolled in ES212: Introduction to GIS and Remote Sensing.
  • GeoChemistry: the Belgrade lakes Study
    This program is spearheaded jointly by the Geology and Chemistry departments of Colby College. The current goal of the program involves, assessing the geological composition, as well as determining more about changes in lake chemistry both seasonally and annually.
